Having plantar fasciitis for over 9 months and trying 6 different kinds of inserts, one sleeping boot creams,pain relievers,stretches and resting. This is the closest to relief I have found. Might try tweaking it to the Shogun.
I was very sceptical about these insoles as I have dealt with foot and ankle issues for 70 years( I had a congenital club foot). These insoles have made a huge improvement in my pain.

I walk for exercise. I walk at least 7 miles per day. I also ride a Catrike. I purchased a high quality athletic shoe to walk in. I found it lacked in support. I purchased the Ninja Insoles and found immediately relief. I removed the insoles and placed them in other shoes and found equal satisfaction in walking.
The first step after inserting these insoles was remarkably refreshing. It didn't make the pain go away, but sure lessened it!
I’m not sure if the timing was just perfect with her recovery or if the heel pain actually was fixed with these insoles, but either way I am sold in buying a second pair so she can stop switching them back-and-forth between shoes.

For the best results, we recommend pairing them with a new, well-fitting pair of running shoes, walking shoes, roomy casual shoes, or supportive boots.
Just swap out the original insoles, pop in your Samurai Insoles, and you’re good to go.
Usually pretty quickly—just 7 to 14 days!
We recommend starting slow: wear your Samurai Insoles for about an hour on the first day, then remove them.
Each day after that, add one more hour of wear until you’re comfortably hitting 8 consecutive hours.
If your feet feel tired or sore at any point (it’s rare, but it happens), just take them out, give your feet a break, and try again the next day for the same amount of time—then keep building from there.
